Sharmila's surprise babyshower party by friends

Sharmila was very much surprised by the BabyShower party that her friends had arranged. All her friends ( Sujatha Anantha, Sujatha Ranga, Chetana Ramesh, Teju Anil, Kavitha Partha, Sudha Ramani, Vani Dwarakanath, Shashi Vasu, Satya Vijaya, Siri Ragesh ) had worked hard for arranging the party and also keeping it secret. Vishnu was also surprised and I had kept it a secret from him also, otherwise you know what happens. Thank you so much everybody. All we can say is we are truly blessed to have such a wonderful circle of friends & family.

Sindhoora's surprise Sweet 16 Birthday and Halloween party

We had a great celebration of Sindhoora's sweet 16 birthday and Halloween party at our house. Sindhoora was surprised (if not totally) to see lot of her friends, parents with their Halloween costumes. Everybody had a great time.
President Bush (Satya), The First president George Washington (Vishnu) , a clown, mouse, pumpkin, witches, hippy, Queen, rabbit, Dessert Prince all attended the party!! The seniors Padma ajji, Subhadra ajji, Jayamma auntie and Geetha auntie all wore similar halloween vests!!
We had a great program including speeches by Vasu, Satya, Sharmila and her mom, Vaichu, Preeti, Sindhoora's teachers: Smt. Usha Char, Smt.Aparna Ramaswamy and her friends: Vibha, Pavan, Nimisha.
Vishnu sang one of Sindhoora's favorite songs and we had great Tabla by Pavan.
There was cake cutting and Sindhoora selected 16 of her best friends/relatives to light the 16 candles.
Everybody enjoyed the party and we wish Sindhoora a very happy birthday and best of luck in the future.

Siri and Ragesh house Gruhapravesha

We all enjoyed Gruhapravesha of Siri and Ragesh's beautiful house. We had great time meeting Ragesh cousins,uncles and aunts and Siri and Ragesh friends from Stamford. Vishnu had a wonderful time there in connecticut and is looking forward to their visit here. Siri and Ragesh also had arranged a Surprise baby shower for Sharmila in their house. We had a great time and Ragesh, Siri -> It was very nice of you to surprise Sharmila.

Vishnu is very excited about going to his uncle and auntie's house Gruhapravesha in Stamford, Connecticut. He always asks why Ajji,Tata went a week early.

Labor day weekend NagsHead Trip

We visited NagsHead, NorthCarolina for our Labor day weekend with our neighbourhood friends. Vishnu had lots of fun in the beach with his friends. We also paid a visit to Sandy beach State Park in NagsHead. Vishnu played in the 50-100 feet high sand and didn't want to go back to the Hotel. We also visited williamsburg, VA on our way back.
